BLU DAISI®'s purpose is to provide resources for fun and empowering games for young people and adults.

BluDaisi provides Matching Cards like picture dominoes, for games where cards with similar shapes and colours are matched to each other or picture matching cards which players can collect in pairs; Jumbo Alphabet Cards for word puzzle games such as "Make a Word" and "Find a Word"; and Poetry Bingo Cards. The purpose is to enable fun activities for families and friends which also support and maintain cognitive abilities and can be enjoyed by people of all ages who would like to socialise, as well as those with special needs and abilities.

  • Our New Matching and Pairing Cards Show Native Australian Flowers.

    There are six sets with 24 flower image cards and 12 flower name cards in each set.

    The same flower is presented in two different ways. One is a detailed and close up image of the flower and the other shows the flower growing as a plant, in the bush. You then look for both those images and match the two pictures of the flower.
    The twelve flower name cards show the everyday name and botanical name of the flower which can be matched with the flower images.
    When playing with larger groups of people you can double the number of downloaded cards to a 48-card set of image cards. This consists of 24 pairs of image cards and 12 pairs of name cards.

    This is a fun way to spend an hour or two and I wanted to share this exciting approach to “playing with words” so that you can use it for your Saturday Afternoon Lifestyle activity. It is similar to Word Bingo. The game is based on a poem by a favorite poet, words from the poem are marked with a token after the caller has called them.     The Golden Wattle or Acacia Pynantha is found in the Sydney area, but there are many more varieties of Wattle throughout Australia.
